Off-limits topics are gently redirected. If your child says something worrying, you'll see it in the parent portal.
Teens
More room to explore, and honest answers on health questions. Teens are told up front what a parent can see. Serious concerns, like self-harm, reach you, and your teen is pointed to real support such as the 988 lifeline.
No false alarms
Summaries only mention a concern when it's real. We'd rather be quiet than scare you over nothing.
Where your family's data goes
Huushi's private server
Accounts and learning records live on Huushi's own server in the US, hosted by DigitalOcean. Reading voices are made on that server too.
Open-source AI first
Most questions go to open-source AI models run by DigitalOcean. Some tasks, like homework plans, and anything those models can't answer go to Anthropic's Claude.
On the iPad itself
In the iPad app, handwriting, voices and most help will run on the device, so more of your child's work never leaves your home.
No ads, and we don't sell or share your family's data for advertising. When your child speaks, the device's or browser's own speech service turns it into text.
